This blog post is inspired by TheSugarCube's picture on deviantArt: How About We Play A Game Called "Let's Kill Fan"

He also makes great and funny art. I wish I could tell him that, but I'm not allowed to have deviantArt (or at least have him on this wiki, that would be nice).

Anyways, the part where it shows the scientific names for Paintbrush and Fan inspired me to do this.

NOTE: I will explain the meaning of each name since you'll be confused. However, most of the names are originated from the translated Latin word.

Supsendissia athleta (Basketball) - "Suspendisse" and "athleta" means "basketball" and "athlete" in Latin respectively

Ferula sweetus (Candy Cane) - "Ferla" translates to "cane" in Latin. Also, candy canes are sweet

Cerasus sweetus (Cherry) - "Cerasus" means "cherry" in Latin. The last part is obvious

Flitzáni speculio (Cup) - I couldn't find any Latin translations for Cup's name (the Latin version is the same as the English), so I used Greek instead. "Speculo" means "glass" in Latin.

Margarita pollinis (Daisy) - Since I like the Greek translations, I decided to use them for some others. "Margarita" means "daisy" or "oxeye" in Greek. "Pollinis" means "pollen" in Latin, because flowers have pollen.

Zária paichnídia (Dice) - "Zária" and "paichnídi" means "dice" and "game" in Greek respectively.

(More coming soon!)
